Bit of a different post today! I've got a beautiful watch to share with you from JORD Watches. You may have seen a few other bloggers featuring a Jord watch recently, and I'm excited to be able to feature one myself! It's nice to write about something different now and again

The stand out thing about Jord watches is of course that they're made from wood, which isn't something I've seen before and is certainly eye catching. All the wood that Jord uses is untreated, sustainably sourced and they use a variety of different woods including bamboo, maple, koa, ebony and cherry to name a few. The untreated wood plus the stainless steel buckle means each watch is hypoallergenic.

Wood is an underused material in fashion, if you ask me. Before a few years ago, wood didn’t have much more than a cameo as a purse handle or, bless, toggles on a terrible winter coat. Recently, though, a shift in perspective has been hitting the consumer market. Sustainability is becoming cool, and along with the eco-movement comes a new appreciation for wood as a fashionable material, creating everything from wooden sunglasses to watches from various sustainably-harvested trees.

Choosing the watch I wanted to feature wasn't easy! It took me a good while to browse Jord's selection of men's watches check it out here FieledCrest Series black

Most watches come in a series of wood colors and styles, and there are several models to choose from – all at their own price level. These nature-celebrating watches could easily be considered a luxury item, ranging from $120 (the model I have on, above) to $250. It’s difficult to criticize a watch within the first year of owning it, honestly, because as of now… it still works as well as the day I received it! The clasp is clever and sturdy, and the link pieces are surprisingly durable.

The watch isn’t completely water safe, though you don’t need to worry about getting a splash on it. It isn’t your grandmother’s wooden buffet, and you don’t need to baby it, but do keep it out of the sun when you’re not wearing it, do not submerge it (it’s untreated wood, so it expands when it gets really wet) and make sure to keep it clean. You can keep your watch clean by combining a little olive oil and lemon juice and applying it with a soft cloth.

Would I recommend JORD wood watches? Yeah, I think that I would! I have been giving mine the business for two months, and it’s held up nicely. Each watch comes with an authenticity card, and a 12 month JORD warranty, which was another unexpected-but-cool surprise during this experience!

I’m happy with my selection of black stained wood, as opposed to the beautiful green or natural light color that many styles are offered in. It’s very richly colored, but still looks like expensive wood! For $159, I’d definitely say this was a good investment if you’re in the market for a unique, sustainable watch!

Todays post will be abou SammyDress . I will start of by saying that this is not what you would call a “curated” shop , it is very much about quantity and that has both advantages and disadvantages.Starting off with the positives, you are bound to find something to suit your taste and at a great price as well, now the main disadvantage is that it does require some serious searching, and I mean you might find yourself looking for hours through thousands of items in each category
the product :

Shop It Here

it was better than i expected and honestly everyone likes it too , my most preferred piece i love black color and white on it , the letters are way too good so fancy everyone likes this style you'd feel unique on your own wearing it

it took only 15 day to arrive they shipped them out and gave me a
tracking code for the items to use on their website then once you tracked it on their site you
can receive the tracking code to use on main sites like royalmail or usps etc etc

.
was super pleased that he will come with tracking because I love finding out where my packages
are and it makes me more patient! Since the items come with a tracking code it's really good
especially since the shipping is free worldwide!
